2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. mother and best friend to this disease By Janet Kraft With extreme intellectual honesty and rigor, and a keen sense of humanity, Ruddy has made the undeniable case for the breast cancer virus and the desperate need for research to be funded. Not since Orwell have I read an author with such a keen sense of the truth and such a veracious curiosity. A page-turner of the first order, I wonder if I will ever be able to look at a Pink Breast Cancer Fundraising article with the same wide-eyed innocence I used to! As a woman who lost her grandmother, mother and best friend to this disease, I finally found a book that has an ounce of real hope and validity.

By Carol When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1998, I spent a vast amount of time researching breast cancer on the internet. I read several books about breast cancer. Nowhere did I find a clue that it might be caused by a virus. What an eye opener to find out how much politics and personal opinions of non-scientists have influenced funding of medical research into a possible cause of breast cancer. Every woman who reads this book should share it widely and clamor for the vaccine developed by Dr. Tuohy to be tested in women.

Dr. Ruddy's years of research on this topic provides you not only with amazing insight into the breast cancer virus, and breast cancer itself, but it will motivate you to become pro-active with your own health and the decisions you make about it. Knowing what goes on "behind the scenes" is always an eye-opener, but in this case it could change the course of your life, whether you are affected by breast cancer or not.
