Very inspiring young lady with a lot of moxie! I adored the pics especially the prom! Really the fact that Miss Okines has progeria is just a side note, her personality and wit shine through. She has a loving and supportive family which warmed my heart. And so thrilling that she has met so many people (especially Steve Irwin, RIP), what a lucky girl. Miss Hayley, thank you for sharing your life with us.ETA April 16, 2015- I was very sad to hear that Miss Okines passed away recently. Many condolences to her family.

Hayley heaven, second review had to go back and correct some areas, being sick sometimes the mind don't work so well By Kindle Customer I have followed Hayleys uplifting story for many years. I so appreciated that she took time to let us inside her life, I was deeply moved by her family's never willing to stop looking for a way to keep this special angle with them longer the the medical doctors advised. Not being afraid of letting her make the healthcare that allowed her to enjoy her life much longer than they expected. This could never have been possible if it wasn't for Hayley and her mother's unwillingness to just settle on traditional doctors advise, if it wasn't for there determination to give her more time to enjoy her life and meet all of the wonderful artists,singers,idols,and allow her life be full of happiness along with much sadness that came with this awful disease and suffering. I read this book in this past week which was very ironic,(no spoiler here). I laughed and cried while reading this book,but am so glad to say I bought her following book and look forward to her precious journey. Thank you Hayley for being a part of so many people who will always carry your journey in our hearts. NAMASTE to the Oikines family. A MUST READ!!!!!!!!
