This pain seems overwhelming and permanent at the moment. But with time and support, you can overcome your problems and the pain and suicidal feelings will pass. The book is written in an everyday tone of voice, it's not medical, it's not preachy, it's just like talking to someone who's been there. I began reading the preview of the book online, and then I ordered the kindle edition right then and there and downloaded it to my PC (I don't have a kindle, and used the Amazon kindle software for my PC) and started reading it at about midnight. It provided a shelter from the pain, and help from someone who had been there and was offering an outstretched hand to help. There's something here for everyone, whether you are struggling or well.I highly recommend this book to anyone who has depression or cares about someone who has depression.

By MamaMaisy This book is a great general guide for treating depression and preventing thoughts of suicide. As someone who has mild depression, I also know people in my life who suffer from depression. I think that it is highly important to know how to communicate and coincide with people of all mental dispositions. With this guide you'll know what signs can point to someone having depression, and helpful ways to replace those negative patterns. It is also a great resource for building a new lifestyle, with different interests and projects that you can thrive by taking part in. Also, the author describes how to know when someone who is depressed should not be left alone, for danger of acting out their suicidal thoughts. I think this could help save someones life, if applied correctly.
