About the Author Dave Ryan grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he was a mediocre student, was chosen last in gym class, and never quite made Eagle Scout. Only upon discovering his love for radio did Dave make an effort at something for the first time in his life. Dave has worked in radio in his hometown, Las Vegas, Nevada; Columbus, Ohio; and Phoenix, Arizona, where he was fired twice in two years. He came to Minneapolis in 1993 to host the morning show on 101.3 KDWB in 1993. The Dave Ryan Show is now heard around the world on iHeartRadio and is one of the most recognized and respected in the radio industry. Dave is a pilot, a MENSA member, an avid motorcyclist, a snowboarder, and a four-time marathon finisher. He's also very judgmental, a chronic yo-yo dieter, and often spits when he talks. He has four kids and lives in Chanhassen, Minnesota, with his wife, his youngest son, and one too many pets.

Dave Ryan does a wonderful making you question most of your lives choices. Thank god this post is anonymous because I've worked with Dave Ryan and all i gotta say is he's a horrible human being. And so you know, I once caught him getting frisky with a turtle.

Book wasn't as funny as I had ASSUMED it would be (funny, but not as many lol moments).....book straightforward and has awesome life lessons, frequently saying, "yes! This is so true!"

By Abby Love this book, I don't read many books, but since I listen every morning thought I would see what it is about and don't regret it, laughed so hard and it was surprisingly very good. I had my kids read some parts as well - well worth it! Totally recommend it.
