There is also a liberal sprinkling of animals, some wild, some domestic, some a little of both, whose memorable antics add relish to the read. In short, this tale is a feast. Peter D Tate, Adj. I am particularly glad that somebody pointed out the issue of animals left behind by the soldiers who are being deployed, and who do not have anyone close to them able or willing to take care of those pets. About the Author Yvonne C. Hebert, California State University, Los Angeles, BA and MA in psychology, worked for 20 years as a psychotherapist with families in Southern California. Her career has also included positions as a Prevention Social Worker for Michigan Children's Services, and as a Rehabilitation Counselor in S. Ca. Ms. Hebert attended the University of California at Los Angeles Creative Writing Program. Besides being a self-described "news junkie" her hobbies include her pets, gardening, and travel.

Flaugher This story is well-written and all the characters touched my heart. As I immersed myself in the story, I felt the components such as the weather and the bond between the animals and humans. Yvonne has an ability to share the thoughts and motives of the characters in such a way that maintains the integrity of the story, which then creates a smooth, touching, and believable ending. I was sad to say goodbye to the characters. Room for Another Heart is definitely on my gift list for family and friends this Christmas.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. my thoughts on it By byron story was easy to read and interesting especially for those familiar with upper-mid Michigan.I felt author had a real love of animals and the outdoors.At first I thought the story was just light enjoyable reading but before it finished I think thereader has to consider a higher meaning of love life and nature.I enjoyed the book.
