About the Author Asa Larson. Uppsala, Suecia, 28 de Junio de 1966. Actualmente vive en Mariefred. Estudió Derecho en Uppsala y, al igual que su personaje, Rebecka Martinsson, durante un tiempo ejerció como abogada fiscal. En 2003 publicó Aurora boreal (Seix Barral, 2009), por la que le concedieron el Premio de la Asociación de Escritores Suecos de Novela Negra a la Mejor Primera Novela y que fue llevada al cine. Es autora también de Sangre derramada (2004; Seix Barral, 2010), galardonada con el Premio a la Mejor Novela Negra Sueca; La senda oscura (2006; Seix Barral, 2011) y Guds starka arm (2009, de próxima publicación en Seix Barral). Sus libros han sido un éxito inmediato: han obtenido el elogio de la crítica y han sido publicados en veinte países. Ha sido galardonada con la Pluma de Plata de la Feria del Libro de Bilbao. Asa Larsson is a Swedish crime-writer. Although born in Uppsala, she was raised in Kiruna in the far north. Prior to becoming a full-time writer, Larsson was a tax lawyer, a profession she shares with the heroine of her novels, Rebecka Martinsson. Her first Rebecka Martinsson novel, Solstorm, was awarded the Swedish Crime Writers' Association prize for best first novel. It was published in the UK (under the title The Savage Altar) and was shortlisted for the Duncan Lawrie International Dagger. Her second Rebecka Martinsson novel, Det blod som spillts, won the Best Swedish Crime Novel Award.

La que resuelve l crimen es una abogada fiscalista!
