Laser technology is changing quickly and this is the most up-to-date text that I have found. The other book sin the series are excellent as well.

This textbook is current, easy to navigate and has copious pictures and diagrams, well developed patient education sheets, consents and procedure flow sheets. The physics, histology, tissue interactions and safety of each laser treatment and wavelength are presented in a sensible manner that serves as a great reference for neophytes and more experienced laser practitioners alike. The quality of the many illustrations is also outstanding. This is the ideal text for anyone entering the field; but browsing it will also be a pleasure for the experienced reader. It is a highly recommended "practical" textbook.
