By Rigaud If I can critique this just a bit, this book read more like an extended magazine interview than an autobiography. Since every word of their (TS Madison's and the author's) statements to each other was included, including "ummms" and "uhhhs", it lacked a smoothness that could have been there with a bit of editing.Another disappointment was the only part of TS Madison's life that was detailed was her time as a street walker. Her childhood was breezed through; she lightly touched on her transition (and I mean LIGHTLY), and her porn career isn't even mentioned.Most of the chapters came to an abrupt halt. You can tell that the conservation continues beyond the end points, but for whatever reason, they choose not to include it in the book. This was especially evident in the chapter where TS Madison speaks about her friendship with a high school classmate by the name of Mona, and the dynamic between the three of them. After she introduces the friend to the reader, she says that she will speak more about her later, then the chapter ends. Mona is never mentioned again. Again, with some simple editing, this could have been avoided.Let me say that this review comes from a admiring fan. I love TS Madison's spirit and her drive to excel. I didn't want to sugarcoat this because that would prevent her from knowing what she and/or Jasmine P. Rain (the author) can improve on. All in all, I appreciate the time and effort that was put into it and I plan on supporting future works!

Great book to learn and understand the true struggles Trans women went through to become accepted citizens of society. As a pioneer, TS Madison delivers a candid memoir of all her trials and tribulations that brought her this far. You feel like you are over her house for some "tea" honey while she chit chats about her experiences and you rly can't get enough of the juice.

I was hooked. i've never read a book in one siting, but yes I read the entirre book in about 4 hours. I will say my only gripe is the length. I hope that this is just an apitizer to Madisons biography because this is was way too short for such a huge personality and life that Madison has. But yes if your debating on buying the book, BUY IT!
